According to BOE, through the use of black and white and color double-layer Cell design, as well as pixel partition technology and micron-level ultra-fine light control technology, the contrast ratio of the BD Cell display reaches millions, and the dark tone performance is deeper.

Compared with the on-site OLED display, the low-gray-scale picture of the BD Cell display is richer in details, and the power consumption can be 40% lower than that of the OLED display of the same size.

In addition, the BD Cell panel is not just a technology demonstration. Hisense’s ultra-high-definition TV based on BOE’s BD Cell panel will soon be launched, and it is expected that more manufacturers will follow up.
