Headquartered in Ustronna, in central Poland, TME has been serving the European electronics market for over 30 years. An array of different Harwin product lines will be kept in stock at TME’s logistics centre near Łódź.
“The addition of TME as a franchised distributor will bring an extra dimension to our supply chain strategy,” says Harwin’s Steve Miller, “Eastern Europe has evolved from focusing on contract manufacturing to become a thriving hub for electronic design activity.”
TME has 11 subsidiaries, covering the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, with operations in other countries including Germany, the UK, Spain and Italy.
The distribution deal, which covers Harwin’s HRi, BBi and EZi categories, will see TME leveraging long-standing relationships with clients in the industrial automation and avionics sectors, particularly in Eastern Europe.
“Harwin’s optimised interconnect solutions and board-level hardware are valuable additions to the portfolio of products we offer,” says TME’s Wojciech Pawłowski.
