“It’s totally nuts,” says AI CEO

Suleyman has just raised $1.3 billion with investment coming from Microsoft, Nvidia, Bill Gates and Eric Schmidt the former Google CEO. The total amount it has raised so far is $1.525 billion.

In May, Inflection launched a conversational chatbot called Pi. The company, which has 35 employees,  is now valued at $4 billion.

Inflection trains its products on a cluster of 3,584 Nvidia H100 GPUs and is in the process of jacking that up to 22,000 H100s.

Suleyman was a co-founder of DeepMind which was founded in 2010 and sold for £400 million to Google in 2014.
