Made from a mixture of steel and aluminium, it is powder coated in one of three standard colours: black, grey or white. Other RAL colours are possible subject to a minimum order.
The standard Raspberry Pi 4 connections are brought out to the rear including a 12Vdc 2.5A power input. A “power supply block is available as option” as is an “audio option”, said the company. The Raspberry Pi can also be supplied, as well as the display and its interface, and there is a fully assembled option.
Mounting is via four VESA standard holes on the rear, or using four supplied side clamps to flush-mount the enclosure in a surface.
The 10.1inch display kit has a 1,280 x 800 IPS (for wide viewing angle) projected capacitance screen measuring 255 x 174 x 9mm (218 x 137mm viewing area).
Connection within the display kit is via an HDMI to LVDS interface PCB, which provides all power, signals and back-light conversion for the TFT display. Power needs are 12V at 2A for the display and 5V at 2A for the Pi, said Inelco Hunter. The touch screen interfaces can be either USB or I2C. Cables and pillars to mount the Raspberry Pi 4 are included.
