The granting of the Advanced Partner status recognizes Plasticard’s future-proof technology that is a vital addition to the development of smart cities with digital services and highlights the great opportunities in expanding MIFARE products into new smart city applications, such as EV charging.

The KlimaTicket Ö and its services are designed to help Austria reach the Paris climate goals and therefore the card itself comes as a 100% recycled PVC card.
The TU Dresden relies with their campus4you-project on Plasticard-ZFT’s expertise of combining access control with MIFARE DESFire EV2 alongside the VDV-KA applet (the German public transport standard) to enable students to use regional public transport services with their Student ID-card. The card also serves as a key for lockers on campus and for access to the university libraries.
