In order to implement the “14th Five-Year” development plan for the transformation and upgrading of the city’s industrial parks, and to accelerate the digital transformation of the parks, on the morning of December 16th, Zhang Hongtao, chief engineer of the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, led a team to investigate Huawei Automotive BU, China Mobile Industry Research Institute and Jinding world.

Zhang Hongtao fully affirmed the contributions of the three companies in the city’s digital transformation work, hoping to seize the opportunity of Shanghai’s comprehensive promotion of urban digital transformation in the next step, insist on overall transformation, omni-directional empowerment, and revolutionary reshaping. Focusing on “digital operation, digital economy, and digital demonstration”, the park will be built into an organic life form and a sustainable development space based on comprehensive perception and ubiquitous connectivity, with the characteristics of active services and intelligent evolution.

China Mobile Industry Research Institute is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Mobile. It uses the development of 5G as an opportunity to combine new-generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things, edge computing, high-precision positioning, and China Mobile’s talents, capital, Network and channel advantages empower vertical industries in the three major areas of smart transportation, industrial energy, and financial technology. On the basis of building a good 5G ecological cooperation, we will give full play to the advantages of the Yangtze River Delta region’s economic development and the information and communication industry to radiate across the country, and achieve coordinated development, integration and innovation, and ecological construction through the 5G empowerment industry.

Jinding Tiandi is a supporting development site for GM’s Cadillac plant. In accordance with the plan of “image in three years, functions simultaneously, and basically completed in the 14th five-year plan”, in the future, a 5G+ ultra-high-definition video industry base will be built along Shenjiang Road, and a future automotive headquarters R&D base will be built along Jufeng Road. A number of projects such as SAIC-GM, Pan-Asian Automotive Technology Center, Bosch Digital Innovation Center in Germany, Baidu Future Car Innovation Center, and NetEase Digital Economy Innovation Center will settle in Jinding Tiandi.
