A few days ago, Toyota officially released two new electric vehicles, which are Ultra-compact BEV and Ultra-compact BEV business Concept. These two new models will be officially unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show, which opens on the 23rd of this month.
Among them, Ultra-compact BEV is a pure electric mini-vehicle, which can accommodate 2 people and has a very compact overall shape. The front face of the new car is equipped with a polygonal air intake grille, the long and narrow LED headlights are highly recognizable, and the central LOGO is located on the charging cover.
Another Ultra-compact BEV business Concept concept car looks very sci-fi. The all-black body is matched with dark glass material, which looks more like an independent cockpit.
As a practical concept car in the face of daily multi-scenarios, the interior of the Ultra-compact BEV business Concept is a big surprise. From the official map released, there are three adjustable modes for the interior of the new car, namely Drive Mode (driving mode), Office Mode (office mode) and Relax Mode (leisure mode).
When the vehicle is in driving mode, the seat on the driver’s side can be moved to the driver’s seat, and the instrument is projected in front of the driver. In the office mode, the seat of the new car will be moved back, and the side table will extend to the front of the driver to form an office space. In leisure mode, the curtain on the roof of the new car can project video and so on.
It is understood that the Ultra-compact BEV will be officially launched on the market in 2020. Officials say it can travel about 100km on a single charge, with a top speed of 60km/h and a charging time of about 5 hours.
